The Rhode Island Legal/Educational Partnership joins professionals from the legal and educational fields to promote a greater public understanding of the law and legal processes.

Rhode Island Legal/Educational Partnership introduced the Mock Trial Tournament (MTT) to Rhode Island in 1984 to help high school students develop an understanding of the workings of the judicial system. Three years later, the Partnership became the first law-related education agency in the country to establish a separate tournament for middle and junior high school students.
